Today, Saturday May 2, 2009....

To start off, this idea, I want to say, ultimately, we have reached a point in our national history, that we must as a people take a stand against the Tyranny that we all have come to know and fear in our lives. We must stand and be counted among those who believe in Liberty, that the Government should acknowledge and fear.

I believe that our Supreme Court Justices have through time eroded away some of America's most important foundations. I truly believe that our forefathers, from my study of the days and hours that were spent on each of our 3 powers of government, that the Judicial system, which of course, is the judiciary, which was an after thought, according to historical record, was never meant to legislate from the bench, only to interpret and apply the law. We have a justice leaving this summer, and we must pray as a nation that this is the last justice to leave the SC until bHo leaves the top seat of our union.

If you are not aware, be aware, that our nation is considering adopting the UN treaty for giving children specific rights and eroding our own parental rights is upon us. They will decide May of 2009 whether to ratify this or not....call everyone you know, and have them contact their congressmen and representatives and tell them not to do this. Tell everyone you know to do the same....

Soon our representatives and congressmen will discuss again the ratification of UN Committee on the Rights of the Child or the CRC.

Ten things you need to know about the structure of the CRC

1. It is a treaty which creates binding rules of law. It is no mere statement of altruism.

2. Its effect would be binding on all American families, courts, and policy-makers.

3. Children of other nations would not be impacted in any direct way by our ratification.

4. The CRC would automatically override almost all American laws on children and families because of our Supremacy Clause.

5. The CRC has some elements that are self-executing, while others would require implementing legislation. Federal courts would have the power to determine which provisions were self-executing.

6. The Courts would have the power to directly enforce the provisions that are self-executing.

7. Congress would have the power to directly legislate on all subjects necessary to comply with the treaty. This would constitute the most massive shift of power from the states to the federal government in American history.

8. A committee of 18 experts from other nations, sitting in Geneva , has the authority to issue official interpretations of the treaty which are entitled to binding weight in American courts and legislatures. This effectively transfers ultimate authority for all policies in this area to this foreign committee.

9. Under international law, the treaty overrides even our Constitution.

10. Reservations, declarations, or understandings intended to modify our duty to comply with this treaty will be void if they are determined to be inconsistent with the object and purpose of the treaty.

Ten things you need to know about the substance of the CRC.

1. Parents would no longer be able to administer reasonable spankings to their children.

2. A murderer aged 17 years, 11 months and 29 days at the time of his crime could no longer be sentenced to life in prison.

3. Children would have the ability to choose their own religion while parents would only have the authority to give their children advice about religion.

4. The best interest of the child principle would give the government the ability to override every decision made by every parent if a government worker disagreed with the parent’s decision.

5. A child’s “right to be heard” would allow him (or her) to seek governmental review of every parental decision with which the child disagreed.

6. According to existing interpretation, it would be illegal for a nation to spend more on national defense than it does on childrens' welfare.

7. Children would acquire a legally enforceable right to leisure.

8. Christian schools that refuse to teach “alternative worldviews” and teach that Christianity is the only true religion “fly in the face of article 29″ of the treaty.

9. Allowing parents to opt their children out of sex education has been held to be out of compliance with the CRC.

10. Children would have the right to reproductive health information and services, including abortions, without parental knowledge or consent.

Christian Values.....gone but not forgotten.

On behalf of every US citizen, I invoke the right to free speech, and I give you the following.

To start off, I must first tell you something that is very important to me. I was a very blessed individual growing up, and I was allowed to learn my schooling during my elementary years at Glennville Christian Academy, in South East, Georgia. It was at this school, where I learned what a wonderful nation this one is, and I learned about the reality behind its founding, in depth. It was a good thing for me, and I am grateful for having had this opportunity in my life. One thing that I did not know growing up, but now do, is that not all students throughout the United States learn the same lessons about our great nation and the details of its establishment, as I did in that private school in Georgia. Not only was I surprised by this notion, but I was appalled at the lack of sincere honesty in the textbooks of my sons through their impressionable elementary years. It is with these thoughts in mind, that I want you think about what will be laid out below.

First of all, let’s address The 10 commandments issue. There are sets of 10 commandments given by God to Moses in courtrooms throughout this nation, and there are judges who do still base their decisions upon them. The laws of this nation and those means by which the social sector is ruled and controlled are laws based on Judeo-Christian Principles and Dogma. Meanwhile there is much controversy and some litigation in motion to remove them from the public square due to offending someone or what have you. There is a marble engraving of these very commandments on the wall of the Supreme Court Building that would be very difficult to remove, and hopefully, at this time there is nothing set in motion to make this occur, as this would be a travesty, as all the other situations like it have been.

Each session of Congress is opened with communication to God, and it is within the rights of that entity, that governing body to pray, just as the forefathers of our nation did upon our founding. Why is it that the Congress has this right, but my children attending public schools in this nation cannot have the same right? I personally know many parents who home school in this day and time because of this very fact. Why is it that people are suddenly offended at this freedom of expression and this right to speak freely about what we need or want to directly to God Almighty, wherever an individual may so choose, whenever that same individuals so chooses? I am sure, as a matter of fact, I am positive that God is offended to be put in His place by our government. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that that is part of what lead us here today to the place and time to say what has to be said before it is all too late. Why did our nation plod along 200 years with fewer problems than any other nation on this planet and how is that we became the greatest nation ever known to mankind? I can answer that. We had God and Country together and we prided ourselves on that very fact, because we as a nation were indeed a Christian Nation. Sadly, this is not the case anymore, and we as nation will begin to see an eroding of what we thought we were. Just wait. According to a recent statement made by our current President in Turkey, the United States is not a Christian Nation but a nation of citizens. What does it take to be considered a Christian Nation? Approximately 75-80% of our populace is affiliated Christian in some way, and when comparing apples to apples, the Jewish state of Israel is only 60% Jewish and 40% Arab.

I am certain that our forefathers would be very disheartened if they could see for themselves just how out of hand their original plan has become. I know that if my own father were living who served this fair nation for 20 years of his life in the Army Air Corps and then the Air Force, through WWII (as a fighter pilot and then a POW) and the Korean War, that this current situation occurring within our own quagmire government that he would be sickened and appalled. He taught me so very much about standing up for what I believe in, and I am grateful to have had that influence in my life. To be honest, if he were living he would be totally amazed at just how quickly our government has taken a left hand turn into secularism/fascism/socialism. I am almost as sure as I am sitting here, that if he is aware at all, he is rolling over in his grave, at Arlington National Cemetery, at this moment for the sudden realization that he did not serve God and Country together as a unit. Sadly, it is a travesty to our own survival and the futures of our children as time goes on, as our government moves further and further away from what was intended by the original framers of our government.

There is a Bible in every courtroom for swearing purposes, to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. OK, so God’s word is useful, when it serves the purpose of government, but the people are denied acknowledgment of the laws that God set forth, in the Public Square. How can this be fair to the citizens of this great nation? When did this become the norm, and how much longer are we going to be subjected to living this nightmare? How is that we have been denied the right to see for ourselves that it is a sin against God and His principles to dishonor our mother and father, to steal, to lie, to take God’s name in vain, to covet others' things and wives etc, to have other gods before God, and so on? Why is it that this suddenly an offense, whereas in the beginning of our fair nation it was a wonderful tool for socializing people and teaching them morality and values? What happened to America’s Values, well, essentially, our values hit the virtual toilet when someone in the Judiciary told God to step back from the public square for the comfort of a few versus the morality of a nation? When did we start to care if God offended the citizens of the United States? Personally, I think that God and His principles will always offend those who choose a different path in life that doesn’t encompass God. This should not deny those who choose God’s path to be denied the rights of the original citizens of our country. Our forefathers did not care one iota what anyone thought about mention of God in the original papers, and they did not care if anyone was offended. I respect them for that stance, and my respect has seriously left the building for anyone who gives any credence otherwise. It is frightening to me, to know that teachers cannot tell their students that it is wrong to steal. It is wrong to steal, but teachers in this day and time in our fair nation must tell the students that they have to choose for themselves what is the right way. How did things get so out of hand? What can be done about this situation? I am sure that many citizens do understand and realize the current affairs of our nation and the grave danger we are facing now. Honestly it is more internal than external, but the new vulnerabilities which are now on the horizon, make the ominous darkness more real. It is doubtful that anyone reading this will leave here today with the same take on things, as my God is a powerful one. He is the Almighty referred to in most state legislatures and the Declaration of Independence, as well. To what end will all of this lead? Will America degrade into the Socialist Muck without so much as a word. Is the apathy that strong? Why is it that so many in our nation are offended at these few, who seemingly have caused internal turmoil that will wreak havoc upon our nation at an alarming rate? Why is it that more are not joining in the ranks of the disdained at the Tea Parties? I will tell you....they are more frightened to stand up and say something, then they are to sit back and let it happen to them and theirs. Will all of this fall upon the deafened ears of a secular nation, or are there those among you willing to take a stand for the Republic we are? Why isn’t something being done to protect our rights and the things that we stand for as citizens? Why isn’t something being done for the future of our children and their children yet to come? I will tell you why....because it is up to us to take that stand. Without action, word and deed there is not Change.

You know, God is a gentleman. He will step aside just as the nation has said, and He will take His blessings with Him. He will watch as we do the best we can do by ourselves, but He will do nothing until we ask Him to come back in. He will veritably stand by and watch us while we fall flat on our faces, and He will do nothing because, that is where we have asked Him to be. This is frightening to me. We know that it is true, and we beseech the US government to embody the spirit of the forefathers of this nation and to stand up for what this country’s heritage was and to invoke it yet again into the embodiment of what is yet to be. God will bless us as a nation, but we first must be a bless-able nation.

Now that we have touched on a very important issue, let’s look here for one moment at the Pledge of Allegiance. In my studies, I have found that most people I have spoken with about the American Flag believe it is an honor to invoke God into our National Creed of Allegiance to our National Flag. It is a part of what this nation decided to do during the Cold War, and the facts are that most of the citizens of our nation are proud of and have absolutely no problem with the inclusion of “Under God” in our Pledge of Allegiance to the citizenship we bear in this nation. We consider it an honor to be able to dutiful honor both God and Country in the recitation of these words.

Another topic that is of the utmost importance to address today is homosexual marriage. Personally, I feel that all people are entitled to rights. I also feel that those rights should not down trodden rights for those already in existence. I do not feel that change of societal norm to force those who chose to marry heterosexually to be in the same heading or "school of thought" as those who do not choose this lifestyle and opt to live alternatively. I do not care what a union is called for a couple of the same sex, though calling it marriage, demeans the real meaning of marriage from its Biblical roots. The candid truth of what God's Word tells is that certain lifestyles will lead our souls to an everlasting torment if we fail to repent and accept Christ as a personal Savior, walk away from the sin in our lives, and live according to the laws Jesus and the Word of God give us. Though the US government, I assure you cares nothing about your soul, and those in power now, doubtfully even believe you have one. If they did know and yet stood on these moral turpitudes anyway, judgment day will be even more interesting than I already believe it will be. How is it that the very word of God, which our court uses for swearing purposes can be ignored for the values it imposes on this issue? God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah in the bible and he turned Lot’s wife into a pillar of salt for even looking back on the sin within it. Can we not learn through the lessons that have gone before and realize the error of the path upon which we trod as a nation. God’s word states that it is an abomination in the sight of God for a man to lie with a man, and yet we as nation or individual states have embodied the idea that homosexuality has something to do with personal civil rights. If I were an African American, not only would I be offended, I would be furious at the very idea of that whole conceptual addressing of this issue. Quite simply, I am offended, because, it is not the way that we have had set for before us in the Bible. God made Adam and He made Eve to complement Adam. They were the first marriage. They were able with no medical intervention to produce offspring, just as God intended. A homosexual union of any sort will never be able to say this. Families, the way God established are formed from the union of one man and one woman, and they are according His word, to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth. It is an expressed fear that I hear over and again, that God will be angry with us as a nation if we continue to allow this type of homosexual union or marriage as acceptable and sinless. His word tells us that teaching children and guiding them the right way is essential. Teaching that Homosexual unions are as moral as Heterosexual unions, is in direct contradiction to Christian Dogma. It is even more out of hand that things within government are attempting at this time to limit the church as to its historic stance on this very issue and telling the church that it is not allowed to say that homosexuality is a sin. It is a sin, and God’s word says so. God does not like blatant disobedience to His doctrine. Sadly, our nation doesn’t seem to see the forest for the trees on this issue, just the same as it does with some of the others that are so important for remaining in God’s good graces. Honestly, I love all people, and what I want to implore most on this topic is acceptance of others and their rights to make their own choices. I don't care what others do in that respect on a personal note. I only care about the souls of others on that note, and I pray that God will reach those reachable in time. God loves us all, and we all commit sins in our lives, whether we acknowledge God or the sin or not....We all fall short of the glory....and honestly, being faced with the challenge of forcing specific ideas on my children that infringe on my rights to teach my children the Word of God, really does make me angry, so I know I too will fall short once again. Spiritual Warfare at its finest it at work here in the US, and we as a people see it, acknowledge it for what it is, and pray for God to help us.

I have always been saddened by ridicule of those who were a little different....I don't mean just LBTG, but also overweight people, ugly people, or those who did not fit the mold of the 1980s. I did not fit it in in high school, though it was not due to my sexuality, it was due to being the Fattest girl in my high school. I was and felt it deeply....a social outcast. I know, and I always will, that people are shallow. It is a lesson I will take with me to my grave. I recall allowing it to bother me, then, though now other's opinions of me really do not matter to me. I want others to be happy, but let me just say that earthly happiness, in the whole scheme of things is not what matters in this particular situation....life here on earth. This is not a game.....this is your life, the choices you make in every realm have a cross lateral effect on every other area of life, not only for those you care for but also those you don't. Standing for your values, your morals, and your beliefs in this life and in this world are what ultimately show the true character of the man/woman/person.

Where did the “Separation of Church and State” come into play? There is not a guarantee of this sort anywhere in the wording of the constitution. It was originally a statement made by an individual that has been taken out of context over and over throughout the time I have lived on this earth. The reality behind this is the actual invocation of these words as though they were also a guarantee, is really beyond comprehension. Our forefathers did say that government could not establish a religion and force us to abide by it, but they also said that we had the right to be involved in religion and the free exercise thereof. For years, we all have heard the Separation of Church and State Issues, yet we all can read for ourselves and can see the mishaps this is continuing to perpetrate against the very protections our nation has said it established for us.

There are many forefathers’ quotes that mention the fact that the United States was established on Christian principles and that we are a Christian nation. There are even statements as to the want of Christian leaders for our Christian nation. What happened? How did the Judiciary suddenly take to lead in the ruling of our fair nation, instead of taking the back seat as the constitution intended? How did Congress and its role take the backseat instead of the front seat as was intended? We do not want to be lead by the Supreme Court Justices of this nation; we want to be lead by a government like the one the framers of the constitution intended. If God were not supposed to be part of government, why did the framers put His name or even acknowledge His existence in these government papers? Because, there was no guarantee of this separation of church and state idea when this government was established on Christian principles.

It is being talked about heavily at this time, and there is a growing fear of the removal of “In God We Trust” from our money, the same way that God is being challenged in all of the other arenas. At this time, I read today on msnbc.com that there are Atheists on the move in this current government framework attempting to make changes to this. We want “In God We Trust” on our money and truly we don't care who we offend. We do trust in God, and we are proud of the fact that our money that passes our hands daily says these words.

So, you see, it is all tied together, and each thing in conjunction with the next, has caused a snowball effect that we all can see taking place within our daily news broadcasts in our homes. Morality and values of that type, have gone out the with the absence of religion where it rightfully belongs in our socialization process, where it was invoked from the very beginning by our forefathers, as the basis for the government being established. To us, this is apparent, as it would be to anyone who has eyes that can see and ears that can hear. With the apparent removal of God from the public square where He was welcomed for so many years in our nation, a moral degradation and decline is gradually taking place, and no one seems to notice or to care, other than concerned citizens like me, writing this blog today. No one in government is helping us, and truly it is up to those who realize that “We The People”....includes you and me.....stands for us. We, as citizens, know that we have the right to be heard and we know that we must tell our views to in order for the nation to know what they are. Well, I have said what I feel they are, and I have made the best case for them that I can make in a brief synopsis....

I leave you with this.....I have taken a stand for God and for this nation, and all those who read this and feel moved.....Thank you for your time and May God once again Bless America and her citizens. Until next time.....
